I was previously using a BB9810 and later changed to Z30. However, i seemed to be receiving a "temporary server error" when associating the BBM on my Z30 with my Blackberry ID.
I have turned off the WIFI and also restarted the phone, yet the issue persists.
I have a full Blackberry Internet Service enabled on the phone by the service provider. I am able to check my emails and send mails, but the BBM doesnt seem to work.

That could be the problem...BB10 does not use BIS, and it has been reported that having BIS on the account can sometimes cause BB services to fail. I recommend you ring up your provider and have BIS removed.
