Z30 Suggested Email contact

Hi, i've tried to find some solutions to this question but the available information seems a bit sketchy

The grey bar under the 'To' section of the compose email screen contains suggested email addresses.

Here are my questions

1. Can you get rid of that function or is there a release planned to solve the issue?

2. If not, what controls it, i.e what are the parameters that decide which addresses appear there, most sent, most received, combination of both?

3. For Q2 is this based on a period, i.e last 15 days? And if so is there a way to change by sending emails to myself, i.e override which addresses show there

thanks

It is a function, not a controllable feature. So no, you cannot turn it off.

As to the 2nd half of your question, no one here in this user-to-user community can comment as to what the future may or may not hold.

I've gotten so used to those that I don't actually pay any attention to them anymore unless I want to use them. They are, after all, just suggestions...if you don't click them, they do nothing. I never have figured out the actual rules behind what controls them...I quickly searched for a relevant KB, but could not find one...you may have better luck in searching;

Good luck!

Re: Z30 Suggested Email contact

Thanks and I have reviewed, searched the suggested microsite.do but could not locate an answer.  I did see references to BES functions in regards to the Suggested Contacts field but nothing about Active Synch or device level option to turn this field OFF.  A few of my users are complaining that they often mistakenly add people in to their composed emails by accidentally touching the names.

Any other suggestions is greatly appreciated.
