phone speaker issue

This has come up only recently but it's getting my attention. I have a friend with a Z30, another with a Q10 and I have both, all with the same issue starting recently. When using the phone, the speaech I am hearing is getting a lot of static and is unclear and not as crisp as when we first got the devices. One of my friends has had the phone replace by Blackberry but the replacement came back with the same problem. We all use different Carriers and the phones were acquired at different times, when we tried our SIMs in a Z10, sound was clear and crisp.

 

Is anyone else seeing the same issue?

 

After spending this kind of coin for these things, it's rather dis-heartening and would make me very relucatant to make another BB pruchase or recommend them to a friend.

Would you he willing to find from the others their installed OS release on each device, and yours as well?
Get the specific release at Settings > About > Software Release.

All phones are at OS 10.2.1.2977. All the phone started having the issue within a few weeks of eachother.

Do you know if this issue began with the OS loaded now?

or was present before this upgrade?

 

There is a later OS release which Bell has not released... but official from BlackBerry.

On some of the phones, the issue started before the OS was upgraded. I'll see if the issue persists after the next OS is applied, but my confidence is low that it will fix the issue.

Yes me also suffer from same issue.
