updates

I have the recent update on the z10 (took about 2 hrs to download it all) & upgraded LINK and ........ finally, things are working better!  I was even able to plug the phone into the computer & open an instance of explorer & copy ALL my pictures from cell to pc & put them where I wanted them to go and not have to use the Storage Access .. Media card thing.   Everythig just worked!

 

Many changes... i.e. to calendar... a few problems sorted out & things are looking up!  

 

On text... the name of the person is no longer displaying but I'd rather have that problem than everything else that has been Not working between z10 & link.

Your SMS name issue should clear up once your device is fully synced and contacts are displaying properly.

 

After any OS upgrade on a BB10 device, it will take 48-72 hours for the device data syncing of email, contacts, social apps, etc., to complete and finish. High data transfer after an upgrade cause high processor use, which in turn causes high battery usage. Likewise, high processor use will cause some lag and initial slowness. Ignore and and be patient. It can take the 48 hours for all contacts to sync back to the device. And, the battery will recover after a few days. Just don't drain your battery to 10% or less each time, top off the charge. You'll notice a difference after a couple days.
