Built for Blackberry OnBoard program questions

I have some questions about the BFBB on board program, I was invited to participate with one of my apps: App ID:20078400. I don't see any reason to get it BFBB certified as it's just a silly app that I quickly put together just for fun, I even think it can't qualify because I'm pretty sure it's a single-funtion app.

I don't want to get that app BFBB certified, in stead, I'm working on a proper app, that really deserves to be BFBB! I will submit it for BFBB testing once it's done, but is there any way to participate in the BFBB On Board program with this app in stead?

Re: Built for Blackberry OnBoard program questions

I am in this same situation - my app was really simply, but I have spend some time to add bb10 UI + some features and officailly it should be approved, because it meets all the bfb criteria. The other app is much more complicated, and I also spend some time on improvements (BTW I think it was worth to make the changes I have made).

It is two weeks as I wait for the answer, so I hope soon I will know if any of them passed the tests.

Re: Built for Blackberry OnBoard program questions

Actually there are two BFB programs right now:

- OnBoard: for existing apps, only valid if you get an invitation for an app

- Built for BlackBerry Limited Edition Program: for new apps

So it is up to you which program to choose.

But you may always ask for BFB, not only when there is a chance for a free device :smileywink:
