Hi there,
I have an app submitted to app world (pending approval) that I feel meets all but one criteria for the Built for BlackBerry program. That criteria is : "Provide a privacy policy". This is apparantly done by specifying a URL to a privacy policy in Vender Account details page. However, I don't have a website up, and this is definitely not my speciality. (I could figure it out, but prefer not to). Is there any other way to provide a privacy policy? And does anyone have any suggestions what a privacy policy should look like? Could I type something up in Word and provide that? Any tips how to meet this criteria would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Gerry

Thanks Peter,
So I created a webpage using a free service (xhosting.com) : http://gerrymoerkerken.x10.mx/index.html. Now what should my privacy policy look like? I have never made one before. The data entered by the user in my app never leaves the device (unless they choose to update their BBM profile with a app generated message). I'm not sure the purpose of a privacy policy in this case, but I don't want to make one up either.
Thanks,
Gerry

There is this, but not really what I am looking for :
For now I made my own kind of using a template. It's not pretty, but hopefully it serves the purpose :

Perhaps, I will make a really nice web page some day with links to all my apps in app world, and have a link to the privacy policy within!
I will update with information once I get feedback from the Build for BlackBerry approval process.
Thanks,
Gerry
