As a long time vendor (3 years already) I can assure you that what you see now is just an extraordinary situation because of port-a-thons
Usually a new app review takes up to 5-6 business days, update review 1-2 days, metadata update 2-3 days. When app is approved there is always an email notification. When app is denied you get the email too with description of the reasons. If anything is not clear enough, you can always contact the Vendor support and you get a response in 1-2 days.
This is how it worked for the last years. As I stated above, the port-a-thons changed it, but I hope that when the queue is cleared we get back to the normal review process. I don't know if BBRY hired more (and uneducated) staff to help with the reviews of all those 42000 apps or it is just the same staff but working more hours, but I have as bad experience as yours - apps pending for weeks, no notifications, reviewers asking different things etc. etc, Lol, I even got 3 apps rejected on New Year Eve, I guess the reviewer was really pissed off to work at that time

I have been building for BlackBerry for over a year as well. The appworld problems surfaced about 4 months ago long before port-a-thon.
They have stopped answering support emails from vendors (me anyway). The 1-2 day rule is a rarity. I have times where it has taken 10 requests for updates + 3months of waiting to get a response. Actually, this was for Secure Browser over a year ago. I have had very poor success via email since the start.
About 3 months ago they started using auto-reply generic templates for rejection.
After OS 2.1 they have also rejected at least 10 of my Android ports because their Android runtime froze up. After no replies to my emails for weeks (a few months ago now) I resubmitted the exact same BAR. Approval for all 10 eventually.
My point being i think there is something bigger at fault. And has been for a while. But maybe its just me. I have about 100 apps across my personal + corporate vendor accounts. But im not a big fish by any means compared to many.

Helex, I highly recommend rereading the posts above. The fact you are still saying BFB to me shows you still havent read what we wrote.
You made several important points in your original comments in this thread, but, with all due respect, I'm not sure that this was the best place to put those points. When you are posting in a thread called "Problems with B4BB" in a forum section called "Built For BlackBerry" it seems natural for people to assume that your comments concerned the Built for BlackBerry program. If not, they were off-topic and apt to be confusing.
