Will this break BFB Guidelines

[ Edited ]

I have an app that pulls up a Phone number keyboard, however the phone number keyboard does not have a .

I want the view restricted to mainly just numbers, but also need a . (period)

So I thought of adding a custom button to appear above the keyboard and make it a .(period)

However, I'm developing this app with BFB in mind, and wanted to ensure adding the extra button would not break UI guidelines

(the button would appear directly above the keyboard after the keyboard has been opened)

I don't see how it would be, this is just a design choice by you.

Does it need a button or is it something maybe you can make automatic?

Something I've found though is that if you set a TextArea to a particular input type to bring up the associated keyboard you can't place other characters in any way.

If you've been helped click on Like Button, if you've been saved buy the app. Smiley Happy
