Just got refused so feeling pithy. Unlike the reviewers I will be slightly less vague.

Having reviewed your application 'BB10' we are unable to accept the application at this present time...
Genuine Entertainment: Fail
Your 'App' fails to significantly enhance on what has gone before. Perhaps you could add more entertainment features. How about a dancing clown during the three minutes it takes to boot the device?
Enhanced productivity: Fail
Your 'App' seems to be similar to other products, namely the 'Apps' Android and iOS and makes no attempt to significantly enhance productivity above and beyond these and in fact falls behind in many other areas.
My suggestion would be to add many, many, many more features and ignore 'do a single thing well'... Oh Wait!
Enriched communication: Fail
On running your 'App' the Hub crashes 1 out of three times, refuses to show email and facebook frequently perhaps you could improve on this.
In summary I believe your App 'BB10' fails in the productivity and communication areas, and on a final note promises made by your 'App' have not been delivered and leave a bitter taste in your users mouths.

Fwiw,
Most of the OS is made up of individual apps.
But none of those would be accepted for BFB. They all lack BBM integration, and they are all focused on simplifying the user experience to the quickest (least amount of clicks) user expereince, which is a direct contrast to BFB which encourages application bloat.
At some point they will go one more step back (farther than Alecs post) and realize the purpose behind BFB isnt to spell out required features but to ensure applications have the best experience on BB10 and makes use of the frames through hub effect.
For now they are sidetracked imo.

I have to agree I don't see any of their apps that would pass their own criteria.
One rule for them, another for us.

It only matters in the sense this posting was intended, to point out to BlackBerry that there is a discord in what they are judging our apps on to their own.
Alec's recent post seems to have now addressed this issue and so I'm going to close this off.
Not my best satirical work anyway.

I think it was just the irony of it, but in all seriousness - I would love to see a list of BFB type apps they recommend, and BFB apps they recommend against. It'd prolly help a lot for some people.
