The product/release has to be created during the portathon to qualify.
I just added the metadata today so that I can make the port during the port-a-thon.
Since I added the metadata already, does this mean there is no point in porting tomorrow?
The app/release has to be created in App World during the port-a-thon hours. You could remove the meta-data, rename that old entry to something you'll never use and create a new product during the port-a-thon to qualify.
I just submitted my 20 apps for the Community Port-a-Thon - had to get up before breakfast to get in early - the Port-a-thon started at 4am at Sydney, Australia time
