On SDK not connected to device
On Blackberry Deployment Setup Wizard --> auto discovery fail
How to connect it again?

I doubt we'll get the social apps on the dev alpha, & think this will likley be the last major update our dev alphas get, the real phones are out, affordable & they want the alpha's back

As I could read in the twitter account of blackberrydev (https://twitter.com/BlackBerryDev). They are said that are working in the inquires about Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
I don't know if the inquires is about the missing apps in our dev alphas, but I hope!

Last night I upgraded, in the previus release I had an issue while typing at the sides, the L wasn't feeling the touch release with this new version it is sometimes fixed.
-when oppening pages, apps, menus, etc sometimes it takes a little longer than before.
-new apps are, the hub I could add a gmail account, and could send and receive email via wifi.
- Text messages app and phone are also new, I have a micro sim installed to the dev alpha but altought my network is detected I can-t send/receive calls or text messages, as it says "insert a sim card or call service provider"
Wonder if the os version is blocking something.
- maps, I also get the error messagge described, but after accepting many many times the map appear. Couldnt play much with it
- twitter, linkedIn, you can find them in the BB world, I didnt search for face.
- apps we do not have, the BB remember, a Timer!, note pad, is is said passwor keeper must be dowloaded didnt try it yet....
As everyone around here I wonder if this OS version is the same as the z10 available en uk. (hope not)
We need to advertise this product please give us the complete OS, we know Dev alphas are going to be disabled but while that day comes we could be using it daily to find bugs and to show other people what Blackberry10 is all about.

Regarding Twitter, i don't have cellphone card in my DevAlpha, and i can find Twitter in AppWorld and install it., Colleague of mine do have cellphone card and he can't find Twitter in AppWorld.. Both are DevAlphas B, 10.9.10.35 version. Same thing is with LinkedIn. I installed them both, he can't.

Hi All! I think that I found where is the problem for the missing apps.
The Dev Devices are catalogued like a Playbook device, so when a app is uploaded to Blackberry World if only select the oficial BB10's devices, the app isn't availablel for download in the Dev Alpha.
Actually you can download in the Dev Alpha all the apps that are compatible with the playbook but not the apps only compatible with BB10.
Here two examples:
Linkedin only compatible with the Z10
https://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/7
Badoo compatible with the Z10 and Playbook
https://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/2
The solution of this could be easy update the playbook to BB10! ![]()

I just tried popping out my microSIM, restarting my Dev Alpha A and looking in BlackBerry World for Twitter and LinkedIn. They are not listed. Then I tried scanning the QR Code from the website for BlackBerry World and it says LinkedIn and Twitter are not compatible with my device.
Anyone else get these apps on their Dev Alphas?
