Dev Alpha connected via USB crashes Windows 7 - Blue screen

I'm not sure if this was addressed in any of the other forum threads, but even after the latest updates, if I keep the Dev Alpha connected via USB to my Windows 7 - 64bit.

The system would automatically crash with the blue screen.

Generally the system would crash after 10-15mins of USB connection.

I have also tried with Playbook but it works fine for several hours ( no crash yet that I have come across).

My system configuration

  • Windows 7 - 64bit
  • Firewall - if it affects in any way
  • Dev Alpha - updated to 10.0.9.386/44

Also, if it helps,I tried to check with Android DDMS - but it is also unable to detect the device and Android one. ( I have seen in different threads that People are able to debug applications on the device, since it gets listed by the ADB).

Would greatly appreciate any help on this.
