Is it possible to overlay text in real time on the home screen?

I am a novice at App development and I was just wondering if anyone knows if it is posible to overlay text or images on the home screen (BB10) in real time? i.e. as you change panes you could change an overlay image or text.  So as you slide your finger from the 1 button to the 2 button, not only would you see the icons on page 2 but also see additional info

Hi! It's not possible with the current APIs.
