Hi all,

I have done several updates with my apps in the past and now I have one that is critical for my app (the current BB10 app published simply doesn't work as intended with the release software on the device).

I have released a new version to app world, however it seems to be taking a long time for BlackBerry to approve - it has been pending from the 15th Jan. I have tried contacting vendor support but had no response yet. Normally it seems to be either instant approval, or 5-10 days.

I'm scared that people will download the app in its current broken state and complain etc - not really sure what to do.

Any advice would be appreciated

I'm feeling the long wait as well. I've submitted 5 apps, 1 at the Android Port-a-thon and another 4 at the last chance port a thon and have not heard anything from BB.

The phone has launched in the UK and a friend of mine that I help with his app was submitted during the Last Chance port-a-thon and his is up and running well...

Im anxious to see my hard work out in the wild..

The good news for you is that updates often get approved faster than new apps do...

I sure hope updates are dealt with faster. I've had a pending app submission since January 11th.

I'm also crazy about review time. I have app crashing because of bug in Blackberry's AppWorld Code, sent them workarounded version on January 21st and still waiting for approval.

This is not normal, this is BIG FAIL. They should not do port-a-thons!

It's pretty depressing to have such a long review time :/ I can understand to some degree, since looking at the ticket numbers I have there was probably something like ~30,000 apps submitted between january 11th and february 2nd, but it's still disappointing to be missing the initial rollout of Z10s around the world.

Are there any admins that can help with the expedition of these requests?

Exactly. I'm seriously working on delivery of good quality apps and people like this (http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/vendor/57816/ or this https://twitter.com/FloPMT/status/292862953026379776) are in the same queue.

Don't get me started on app developers like that -_- Here I sit with no dev alpha device because I will never have enough points because I want to develop one good app, and we have guys like that who can just brute force points. Referring to the dev alpha C offer, btw (https://developer.blackberry.com/devalphac/).

Couldn't manage to get to a BBJam for a dev alpha A or B due to being located over 2000km from any of them and not having the coin for that kind of travel, but I digress.
