on a second note, it seems the sample is not workig on the DevAlpha at all, so it seems i have to postpone this development part...
edit:
seems that the readme is pre-update, after some tests it works now.
the start location can be omitted, but the end location seems to be required with long/lat values, if i use only an address the maps application shows but does nothing.
