i can't deploy apps using the IDE (beta4) anymore, following error pops up:

Deployment Failed: Info: Sending request: Install and Launch

anyone has a clue what i am doing wrong?

it looks like an older version of the app got stuck in the OS and won't delete itself...i'm gonna try a security wipe on the device to get rid of this app and see if it works!

i confirm that the issue was with the phantom version of an app in the OS (phantom = cannot be accessed/uninstalled)

a security wipe did the trick

I have the same issue and I followed the advice to wipe data

now I lost every thing 

device restarted then displayed a blackscreen with the word "Blackberry"  

I will try to connect it to PC and re update software.

dont follow any advise untill you see if others followed it and succeeded or not
