So I've successfully connected my app to BBM. SO much easier than BB7 by the way.
Anyway here's the usecase I'm attempting to solve.
We have some static text that we'd like a user to be able to share with one of their BBM friends.
The user clicks the "Share on BBM" button within my app, and the user is presented with their BBM contact list. They then click the desired friend and the message box is pre-populated with the text we specify.
The main problem that I'm having is that I can't seem to find the appropriate documentation.
Solved! Go to Solution.

BBM Social plartform documentation is very poor nowadays. I expect that with the new beta release that RIM will publish on 29th Nov the documentation will be improved.
By now, you can look at Jam Session 47: "JAM47 - Leveraging BlackBerry Services: BBM". It is the more extended info I found...

Looks like the day that I ask the question RIM decides to write up a nice blog post discussing this EXACT thing.
