Re: Tell us your story

Here's my story I'm an iphone 4 user, but recently have found myself wanting a blackberry! I've had palm, android, windows and now the iphone! And in some ways I've been happy with them all.
1. Palm treo to Palm pre I loved these phones the design, the qwerty keyboards and though these two had different os at the time they were new to me and fresh simple to use!
2. I bought the G1 when it first came out and days later it arrived in my mailbox and was the best thing out! I would rival my G1 with associates's bb storm and my phone was better hands down! First google android experience and I was the happiest guy on earth! Then two years later phone was old and obsolete plus Tmobile service was horrible!
3. I went with windows I got the HTC Hd7 the camera didn't work but none could compare with Zune's music service! It was a big phone but I loved it! But like I said it was **bleep** as far as hardware. I went through three phones and on all three the camera just would not work!
Now there were some phones in between none to great but then I finally got a marvelous iphone!
And the iphone thus far beats them all the only thing about it is that using the os gets old very quickly! It's simple for my 1 year old to use but at times can still wow me but then it's the same day in and day out no customization at all!
So what's left is I need a BB but people are either over pricing theirs out of date os phones or people don't want to get rid of them kudos to BB! So I want Blackberry to send me a bold for AT&T to win me over! What can I do to get this done! I will send my iphone to them, break it on video but I want to be wooed! And if Blackberry really wants to be nice send the Porsche design and put their money where there reputation is!

uncaught exception

Through beta zone i got the download link for Blackberry8 while downloading after entering keycode a persistent error is populating " Cannot set up BBM A temporary BBM server error has eccorred". This error occurs everytime I try to click on blackberry messenger icon.

This ultimately leads to uncaught exception " net_rim_bb_qm_peer(339)

Please suggest.

Delete the app from your BlackBerry and reinstall from BetaZone.

If you have further questions about BetaZone apps, please ask those IN the BetaZone.

Thanks!

Re: Tell us your story

I have been swimming from 1 phone the other but none of them has been able to come even 1/10 to the blackberry. I would say dat me n my curve we the greatest couple, because ever since I got it I SWEAR it has been of such great help.
compared to the other "not so smart phones"
Since it has been of such great help I decided to give it a name "JJ"

1st when I got it I realised I had found my other missing piece, because seriously who am I when am not connected online???? But guess what my curve solved
dat

2nd it keeps me in touch with all the people I care about most in my life. this is as a result of keeping me online 24/7. I have managed to establish & close cross-board deals with just a phone call n couple of texts.

3rd The only problem I would mention is dat Here in Uganda it's so hard to easily integrate from 1 device 2 the other due 2 the high costs of living. But hopefully am getting a 9700 next

MY CURVE IS NOT JUST A PHONE, IT'SMY BEST FRIEND and I would like to thank him for helping me meet all of you guy. THANK YOU JJ
