I've been here for awhile but I didn't know where to Post this question.  I was wondering if there was a way to get an email notification for new Private Messages.  Sometimes people leave me messages and I go days without reading them because I didn't know they were there.  I can't find any option for this but I could be overlooking it.

Hi RLord321

There is a way to do this. You have to go into "My profile", than go in "Preferences" and scroll down until you reach "Private Messanger Preferences" and checkmark the option that gets you a notification e-mail whenever you receive a PM.

At the bottom of most sections within the site (forum, photos, links, files, calendar, etc) there is a "notifications" area, with one or more check boxes.

If you want to be notified of new posts, new pictures, calendar events, etc simply check the appropriate box(es) at the bottom of an item and you'll be notifed.

Ycan have the notification sent via email or PM (private message).

"Notification Method: When you monitor e.g. a forum, how would you like to receive notifications of updates?"

When you post to a particular "thread" in the Forum are, at the bottom of the page there is a check box labeled "Notify me of new posts in this thread" which can also be used for email notifications just for this thread.
