When you copy and paste a URL after a search it looks terrible.
I edit it to look like this
http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB10856
This would be nice if it were to show up like this. Informative and sexy. I dont want to do this for every link I copy and paste but would be nice if it did it automatically.

That's a good thing to know... and likewise, if RIM changes links to the KB, etc, the long URL may break. The short URL will continue to work as a redirect.
I had read about this "trick" a few weeks ago, here:

Hmmm...very useful...but here's my scenario. I save all of my most-referenced KB's as bookmarks in FF (which, TBH, I desperately need to organize!!). When I want to post a link to a KB, I open a tab and then open the bookmark (to make sure that it still works as well as contains the information I intend to direct the user to), then I copy/paste the URL into my forum post. If I edit my bookmark to the shortened version, when I open the bookmark, a longer URL is substituted...example:
Bookmark Properties = http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB17394
Opened URL = http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displ
ayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB17394
So, my method of using the Bookmarks as my list of things to paste into a forum post doesn't result in the nicer pasted entity. And if I simply copy/paste the bookmark properties, I won't get that chance to 1) make sure the link still works and 2) make sure I'm using a link to information I intend.

for BTSC you can add a html Permalink if you use Mozilla Firefox with the GreaseMonkey addon.
And install this script :

Since February 8th 2010, this GM script has been broken (due to a BTSC modification).
I have just updated the script. It should be faster and works as before (meaning you need to go into "HTML" mode to paste it).
Please tell me if you want to have a pastable version in the "Rich Text" mode. If more than 3 people say so, I will edit it.

GreaseMonkey is an addon for Mozilla Firefox. It has inspired another open-souce project, called "GreaseMonkey4IE". http://www.gm4ie.com/index.html
GreaseMonkey and GreaseMonkey4IE are not compatible, meaning my script cannot be used for GM4IE. It seems that porting a GM script to GM4IE can be done, though the number of scripts available have no common proportion:
I do not intend to port my script for the time being, except if 9 people here ask me for the GM4IE version.

Looks like some forums make it look nicer now.
Example here
Copy past the link from a BTSC search works ok here though.
IT policies that are available with BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express 5.0 SP1 to 5.0 SP2
actual URL
http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB21123
its a small step in the right direction.
