hello,

1) on this page, above this discussion, click on the link "My Settings" in the grey banner.
2) you get to your settings page. Click on the "Avatars" tab
3) change your avatar.

I've uploaded my BB Avatar, flagged it for approval. I can find no way to pull it up for my active profile...

I don't have the "From Your Image Gallery" option in the drop-down.  Is there another way to set the avatar?

I don't know, let's wait for an administrator to come here. Maybe you simply need to gain another rank that will give you the privilege of choosing an image of yours.

Hello PeacockSuit and elessar,

As part of the rank structure, the higher you climb, the more privileges are offered. I'm afraid I can't reveal to you the various 'in's and out's' of the structure but, I can tell you, good things come to those that participate! 

Keep coming back and it will happen faster than you think!

I'm confused by this too

I've got "Trusted Contributor" while people with more posts than me are still only 'Developer'

I've only been hanging around here for six months or so but my stats are quite good

Those with "Developer" status have registered to be a part of the Forum developer track, that "title" for those developers will not change. Are you a developer?

Otherwise, read the post above yours from KerriB regarding the many effects which determine the rank and title change of forum members.

Yep - I'm a developer but as you can see from my title I'm not labelled as such (I do help out a lot)

I just PM'd KerriB for some clarification
