WHO EVER HAS ADMIN CONTROL OF THIS FORUM...

IS THERE A WAY TO SET A INDEX FOR ALL THESE REPLYS? LOCK THE INDEX FOR ALL LINKS AND KEEP THEM ON THE MAIN PAGE? LOCKED INDEX, BUT LETS THE NEWCOMERS SEE THE INDEX OF ALL AND MAYBE LINKS TO THIER ISSUE. JUST A THOUGHT INSTEAD OF A REFFERENCE TO THIS LINK...THEY HAVE AN OPTION TO CLICK THE INDEX, AS THIS WOULD CUT THE SEARCH PROCESS IN HALF...

I LOOK LIKE THIS AT THE MOMENT BECAUSE THEY ARE ASKING FOR HELP AND I AM SEARCHING WWW FOR SOLUTIONS...LOL

LIKE THIS HERE...COMPLETE INDEX IN ONE POST, BUT HAVE IT LOCKED JUST FOR VIEWING AND GETTING A HELP MESSAGE OR A WALK THROUGH REAL QUICK....AND THEN THE LINK TO THE SOLUTION OR MAYBE THE SOLUTION SOON AS THEY OPEN THE INDEX...???

I AM AN ADMIN HERE ON ONE OF THESE FORUMS EXAMPLE!! CAREFUL IN HERE THEY ARE STRICT!! CAUTION!! 1. Let's get this moved over to the more appropirate Forum Feedback & Ideas section of the forum.
2. You might send a PM to the Community Manager asking him to review this.
3. Would you please turn off your ALL CAPS key. As a forum admin elsewhere, you'll understand how difficult it is for a person's eyes to read and comprehend ALL CAPS in a paragraph, aside from being irritating and known as shouting on the internet. And I'm guessing you're not shouting at us, right?
4. I really don't understand what it is you're asking for (I did review your link).

a main page solid index instead of a message saying go here and go there and this link and that link...hows that a bullet for every help link in a index form...hmmm...been on the net since day one i must have missed something...lol u guess right! lol ok I will bold my post to some small skimpy words are hard to read...many people that come here don't have mouse eyes...lol lol but yah do it like this den...lol u could understand what i was saying...??? i graduated college so abc 123 is to much...k...i will stop this as well...k....alright! lol got it Mr. JSanders...Mr. serious American...lol just kidding...lol

they may be all wrong...i have no clue what i am doing to tell you the truth...i am using old school tricks to post help...lol Ask me about html and scripting or css and codes and what not I am in the zone there...but this stuff is a challenge for me so i stayed to test my self...i did own a bbt9800i tossed it out yesterday and now use a nokia 6350 ched phone...but i am online with it and it is good to go! lol So yes can some one follow my post every now and then as I am liking to post help here. re: the all caps, generally accepted as rude behaviour. I just don't think that's what you're intending. I'm surprised you haven't heard that.

Likewise (I own a graphic arts/typesetting business for 17 years), all caps is hard to read. One's eyes are not trained to read all caps, thereby reducing the comprehension level of what is written in all caps.

• ALL CAPS ARE HARD TO READ according to 93% surveyed. As children, we were taught to read upper and lower case in Serif type fonts.

So, even while someone with 'mouse eyes' may thing all caps makes it easier to read, it really doesn't.

I like your idea of linked thread solutions, if that's what you mean. There is already a pretty nifty search engine which weighs solved threads and "likes" and "tags" to give better results to the user's search here.

Here is what I did and how I know this...I did a search about my phone I typed in bb problems...guess what many people don't want the direct site to blackberry.com in my search the support forum cam in view so I clicked it...now with that ins zee mind I had to click anouther link to go to that page to see the links for desktop software and other stuff for bb...so on the main page they could add a locked post that is anchored to stay there and in the main page I will bet money that many that come to the support forum will most likely go there...I would! Rather then create a post asking for help surveys may prove that many like to get some instructions right away and generally are good at doing it by them selves...maybe 1/3rd would benefit form this...I don't know survey says? Who know? I see a few staff have posted and have a lock on their help topics, so why not a help link one? and yes this is what I intended...Some people like branching out their search and some like it right in there face...and just basically simple directions Bam! Your done...Time is money and money is time...lol I guess! ok, well I tried! Thanks for your time...
