Data Plan for Blackberry Cloud Services

in order to activate, synchronize email, contacts, address book ... between a OS7 device and Blackberry Cloud Services is necessary to maintain a BES data plan?

Activation and synchronization can also be done with a generic data plan?

Yes you need a BES data plan.

Re: Data Plan for Blackberry Cloud Services

I don't think this is correct. One of the advantages of BBCS is that it only requires a BIS plan which is usually less expensive than BES.

Re: Data Plan for Blackberry Cloud Services

Either plan can work so long as the carrier supports it. You need to get an app to activate on BIS if it's not a wiped device.
