The synchronization of the DOB field between my Mac with iCal and my BB 9300 is driving me crazy. For the moment I deleted everything regarding birthdays as I prefer not to have a reminder than a wrong reminder.

I enter the DOB correctly in iCal and after syncing the DOB shifts 1 or 2 days forward or backward.

I tried the DOB with year, and without but still it gives me problems.

Mac 10.7.2

iCal 5.0.1

Desktop manager 2.2.1

BB 6.0 bundle 2647

Is there anyone with the same problem, and has a solution for this rather annoying and simple problem?

This is a reported and known issue in this version of BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac.  We do not know when the issue will be resolved.

I have the same problem. And many, many Bold 9700 users have the same problem. Is anybody getting close to a solution? [MacBook Pro OS X 10.6.8; iCal Version 4.0.4 (1395.7); BB Curve 9300 Version 6.0 Bundle 2949; BB Desktop Software Version 2.2.1 (build 7)]

I have a similar but different problem with my Blackberry Bold 9000 and Mac OS X Snow Leopard. The birthdays end up changed to Jan 3,1. When I try to sync the Blackberry with Lotus Notes at work, the invalid birthday halts the sync.
