And once again,
My two favorite IT toys are not communicating anymore, wasting my time...
My upgraded Mac (10.7.2) doesn't seem to be talking the same language as my BB anymore, since it does not sync...
Help is, of course, welcome

Same problem here. I suspect it is the problem from DM 2.2 not 10.7.2
As I recall, I have sync once successfully with DM 2.1.3 and 10.7.2 a couple of weeks ago.

Is there a way to downgrade to DM 2.1.3?
I'm going to try a downgrade to an older version of DM, in the meanwhile, is it possible to find a download link for DM 2.1.3?

I had the same difficulty. But noticed the number of items in the Blackberry contact list (under options) was about half the number shown at the end of the address book on the MacPro. When I disabled iCloud under address book preferences, the number of contacts shown on the laptop decreased to the number on the Blacberry. This suggests that some of the contacts get moved from the Mac memory to iCloud and are thus unavailable to sync the Blackberry.
I deleted iCloud in Addressbook Preferences, keeping 'On my Mac'. When a dialogue said those iCloud contacts would be lost unless saved, I elected to save them. It took a few minutes, unaided by a progress bar, but it appeared the contacts in iCloud returned to storage on the Mac. After synchronizing with the Blackberry, the contact list on the Blackberry agreed with the list on the Mac. So, I've left the iCloud feature turned off for contacts.

It may not be a software issue. I was having similar syncing issues. Turns out it is a hardware issue and the micro USB port needed changing. Don't bother taking back to your service provider - they have to send it out and a quote will come back that is more expensive that buying a new unit. I took it to a place in Toronto called Cellulartech on Evans Avenue. They replaced the USB and it synchs no problem now.
Hope this helps
