How does one join Blackberry Messenger Friends group.

I know it has something to do with one's PIN. 

How do I know the PIN?

How does this PIN work with sending friends messages?

I would appreciate your help.

Find the PIN by going to settings/options/status, a pin message is just like a SMS message, except free with the blackberry and a data plan. The pin is unique to each BB

Go to Options -> Status now look for PIN no.

PIN is used to communicate between the device. To add friends you can send contact add request either through PIN no. (you need to know you friends PIN no.) or email.

Now how does one get friends?

Is it only those people who you know have BBs?

I need to try this thing out. Just trying to explore the capabilities of the BB.
