Changing from Drive mode to Device mode...

I have a 8310 Curve that has a 4gb card in it and I am trying to connect to my macbook pro.

I have tried Pocketmac and Syncmate and it cannot connect and sync to the mac. It can connect and view the 4gb card for storage but not sync.

Syncmate told me to:

Please, switch your mobile to a device mode. As you perhaps know the mobile phone can be detected by Mac in two modes: as a drive with folders or as a device (available for syncing). The mode which is to be enabled is called RNDIS or Active Sync Mode (differs depending on the device model)

How do I do this?

Please use plain text.
