Sure, I am not the first to raise this question - but why doesn't the desktop software (latest, v 2.3.1 build 5) on a OSX Lion 10.7.3 - allow for BB Device Software updates? The device to be updated is a Bold 9900 (build 18.104.22.1684) and the latest official build from T-Mobile DE is 22.214.171.1242 - which I would prefer to have - to try and find a solution to the battery drain problem with the 3G network. The BB support page on the carrier website - points to a ".exe" file - which is no good on a mac. Cheers,
