Hi everyone, I apologize in advance, as this is going to be lengthy.
I have a Blackberry Torch 9800. My Desktop Software is 2.4.0 (build 16). I'm using a MacBook Pro, running Mountain Lion.
It all started after I recently upgraded to Mountain Lion... my BB would no longer sync to iCal. I uninstalled Desktop Software and reinstalled it. I then tried to update my device software, and got the 507 error message. I disconnected the BB, and reconnected it (via USB) and chose the "repair" option on Desktop Software. The BB now gets stuck booting up (about 2/3rds of the way), and will no longer turn on if not connected to my MBP.
Help!!! (thanks, in advance)

Hello Flick71,
Have you tried reinserting your BlackBerry® Torch™ 9800 smartphone battery already? If so, try to force detection and reload the device software as shown here (You will require access to a PC to attempt this process ):
If these steps fail to resolve the issue, please contact your point of sale for options.
Thank you.
