How well does the Blackberry desktop software work on a Mac

I have friend who syncs his BB 8830 a lot on his current PC. He his considering a switch to a Mac and wanted to know how well the BB desktop software works on a Mac. How would you answer that question?

Will the BB desktop software sync calendars and contacts best with the Mac Mail and Address Book or does it work better with MS Office 2011?

Thank you for looking.

Hey johnbigbootie,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

BlackBerry Desktop Software will be able to synchronize, you will have to make sure the BlackBerry has OS 4.5 and higher and it does synchronize with Outlook 2011.
