Pocket MAC does not recognize my memory card

I just uploaded the pocket mac program for my computer and I have hit a dead end. I have a BB8310 (TMOBILE) with a 4g memory card installed and for some reason pocket mac is not recognizing it. It states that "No media card is present" Can anyone help with this issue? I am new to the BB and my MAC and Im as confused as could be. Any help is appreciated.
