I have downloaded and installed the BB desktop manager with no problems.
I also connected and set up my device without problems
After that it reported that there where updates available for my device but every time I try to update it runs into the same error:
BlackBerry® Desktop Manager failed to validate your BlackBerry® device update.
Validation failed because a module marked for add (net_rim_bis_launch) is not available on local disk
So far I have not found any mention of this error anywhere.
I tried to call my carrier's tech support but they did not even know that the Desktop Manager for Mac exists.
I really need to sync everything on my phone but it has not worked with no software that I have installed so far.
My equipment is
BlackBerry Pearl 8130 OS version 4.3
13' Aluminum MacBook (late 2008) with Mac OS 10.6.1 (Snow Leopard)
Processor: 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Dua
Memory 2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
