I have a problem with my 8310 Curve and pocketmac 4.1.25.
The categories from ical are not displayed in pocketmac. There is only the pocketmac category shown. So, all my entries within ical aren't synced.
I don't know where I have to look that pocketmac recognizes the categories from ical.

If you haven't already done so, could you try rebooting your Mac? Also, can you make sure that you are logging into your Mac with an account that has full admin rights?
If PocketMac still can't see your iCal categories, try repairing disk permissions by completing the following steps:
- close PocketMac
- go to Macintosh HD\applications\utilities\disk utilities
- select the Mac HD
- click repair disk permissions

ok did all the things you suggested below. And once again.... NO LUCK!
Pocketmac is no longer offering support for their "product" unless you pay them an enormous amount of money.
So, when the ical hangs in a never ending spiral of death and does not complete the sync, what should be done?
I have not been able to sync my BB 8830 for over 4 months now. This is pathetic and beyond frustrating.
Any help would be appreciated.

I got it. With Missing Sync. Works perfectly for me also with bluetooth sync
It is worth to pay for the app

Hello, I also have the same issue as Tim31, I've followed the steps you mentioned and reinstalled the Pocketmac software. All to no avail. basically I cannot sync any iCal categories outside of the Pocketmac category.
Do you have any other ideas what might be happening?
