Desktop Software for PC

Over the past few months synchronizing the 8120 with the desktop is very hit and miss with random failures. Such as: -

USB not recognize.

Desktop manager not connected, but the device manager and the hand held tell me they are.

Every thing connects for a few seconds then it's lost and the sync fails.

I have reloaded the driver and desktop 4.6, but the problem persists.

Any advice would be welcome.

install the usb drivers.

I did install driver 4.6 after reading your post on USB. I installed the driver, then re installed Desktop 4.6. And I get the same results. That's when I decided to seek the advice from this forum.

which windows do you use ?

I use XP with service pack 3. I m not sure if this is relevant, but i also use Norton 360 for firewall etc.
