Hi any one can advise how to rectify this issue?
The error message also has the following "Please submit a report of the log to technical support".
No matter how hard I tried, there is no email address for technical help for me to send to!
Any experts can advise? Have been trying to sync my bb to my desktop, to no avail.

I can find no references to that error anywhere in the public KBs...perhaps you will have more luck though:
Lacking anything else, I suggest this thread:
It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work...but it has worked for many to resolve issues they are having.
Also, please be sure that you are using a compatible desktop app (e.g., Outlook), as defined in this KB:
