I have several Bold 9930. I connect them to a desktop to setup all the software on them. When I connect them now and go to application loader its only listing the smartcard reader software, it no longer listing all the 3rd party applications installed (facebook, yahoo messenger, etc) or even the RIM software installed. I have tried multiple BB and different desktops running Desktop software 6.1.035 or 7.1.037 all have the same issue. The problem is I use application loader to install the SMIME package and the dod root certs, which I can no longer due. I've even wiped the blackberry but no joy.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
In many cases, you need to "help" the desktop software by also installing, to your PC, the OS package that is presently running on the BB:
Download and install, to your PC, the BB OS package you desire:
If that OS package is from a carrier other than the carrier for which your BB was originally manufactured, then delete, on your PC, all copies of VENDOR.XML...there will be at least one, and perhaps 2, and they will be located in or similarly to (it changes based on your Windows version) these folders:
Now launch the Desktop Software and connect your BB...the AppLoader list should now be complete. Make sure that you have only one OS package installed to your PC...having more than one can cause some confusion.
Good luck and let us know!

I already have the Verizon 9930 OS loaded, so that wasnt the issue.
I figured it out, I had to activate the BB through Verizon first. Verizon has changed something because prior to a couple weeks ago we could load the sw on the BB's then take them outside to activate via Verizon and on our BAS. Now we have to activate via Verizon first, then load software then activate on the BAS.
