I am using the above device and have for some time. Running BB Desktop v7.1.0.32. I have several physical (not partitioned) hard disks on my system
I configured BB DT Manager to backup data to: d:\Data\Backups\BB8500. I have had this for eons. Recently I noticed that it was backing up to my userprofile... folder. So, I went into Desktop Software -> Tools -> Desktop Options. The backup lcoation is reset to my userprofile directory again.
I am now getting annoyed as the Backup Location on my Drive D: is included in my Novastore backups. But the stupid thing keeps pointing back to my userprofile and of course that data is not being backed up. If I were to loose my phone (or it breaks) this would be almost disasterous. I am not interested in backing up data to my OS drive as that is backed up using Acronis and is image based.
I am not new to this product, nor the phone and have not had any problems until this issue.
What can I do to fix this. Re-install is an option, but I'd rather nto go through that whole process again.
