Last week I sent my phone back to the shop to be repaired, I backed it up that day incase I would be sent a 'Refurbished' phone.
I was, and today when I went to restore my backup to this new phone, it says the file is corrupt, all the other backup files work perfectly, I was wondering if anyone had an answer to why it's done this or how to fix it?
Thankyou!

Hello,
I have attached a KB article that might help you with your issue. This may or may not help it address that there is a corrupted database in the backup file when it failes. Do a selective backup with just your important information and see if you are able to restore anything.

If you are having troubles restoring the backup to your device, you could try using a 3rd party application that can retrieve data from the backup you created. Blackberry Backup Extractor can recover data from Blackberry backups created using Blackberry Desktop Manager. Here is how to read BBB or IPD backup files. Cheers!
