I am attempting to package Blackberry Dekstop Software 5.0.1 B73 and run as a SILENTinstall.

I am running it with INSTALLLEVEL 125

It installs the BB software, BB Media Sync, but does NOT install Roxio Media Manager.

Running NON-silent works fine.

Any attempts to install Roxio separately using the setup executable or MSI have failed (either not installing, hung installs, or completed installs but errors at runtime).

Has any one had any success installing 5.0.1 with Roxio?

If so, can you run down the steps you did?  Did you use the Multilanguage or English version?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why would you want Roxio to install?  Is there a specific reason?  Roxio can cause major problems and really isn't needed.

It is a requirement of the client to have this component installed.

Personally I don't like Roxio at all. It can hundreds of problems!

Suggest alternate music player to your client. Coz he will keep on knocking your various issues in the future.
