Blackberry Desktop Manager

If I have a Blackberry and my wife now has a Blackberry can we both sync devices to the same desktop?  If so, do I need to do something special?  She only wants to sync to my desktop for calendar appointments and maybe addresses.  I have purchased different Blackberry devices and when I sync up a new device it asks me if I want to use this "NEW PIN NUMBER"....but in this case we'll want to use both......

Please advise.

Thanks

Re: Blackberry Desktop Manager

This is only a guess but,

As long as you have the proper device software installed, it shouldn't be a problem. If you have different models, you would need their relative software installed.

Since the PIN identifies the device that's plugged in, if it's identified in the Desktop Manager, (bottom left corner - Device Connected (PIN) -), you should be good to go. Not sure if the manager saves any settings. That may be why it's asking you to verify which PIN. Just acknowledge the one that's plugged in. That may work.

Good Luck

Re: Blackberry Desktop Manager

Hi,

yes you can copy the PC contacts/Calendar to both BB's but when it asks you if you want to use the New PIN number, ALWAYS answer NO!

Thenn run the Synchronisation and you should be good to go.

PS: she will get your emails on her device but she can manually delete them after the the sync.
