Hello amick and welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.
When you are in the Organizer filed in the BlackBerry® Desktop Software, select Configure next to Contacts. When you are in the Set Up screen, there is an Advanced button near the bottom. When you select Advanced, click on the Folders tab at the top.
On this screen, you should 2 options. Place the blue dot in the Select different contact list and select the desired folder.
