CRADSDatabase Error

I have just downloaded and installed the latest desktop software.  When I tried sync with my blackberry, I got the error ... CRADSDatabase ERROR:smileysad:c:\Users\etc etc\SyncSDK.209.601\Translators\RimBB\Contract{8BDD6D4754404DBF87C89869655DE48}.adt) is not open.

I have a Dell XPS with WIndows 7 Home Premium with 64 bit.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the desktop software.  My blackberry software is 7.0.0 Bundle 2392.  Blackberry 9900.

I have been using blackberry for about 10 years.  It worked well till the latest upgrade.  Any help appreciated.  Happy to roll back to prior desktop version, too.

Thanks.

Re: CRADSDatabase Error

I had the similar problem on my BB9300.

I was disappointed to see no one has put any solution to this thread.

So even I wanted to do what other would have done i.e. re-install the Software.

But than I thought of why not just delete the problem file instead of blowing entire software. So I just deleted all the .adt files and bingo I'm back in business.

Re: CRADSDatabase Error

Excellent suggestion, I had the same problem and after losing hours and reinstalling software, it just worked once. Deleting the adt files I got back in business as well

Re: CRADSDatabase Error

Please read the error message completely and you will find the path of .adt file. Just go to that folder (directory) and delete all the .adt files. Close the Destop application and re-open it again and start syncing.

If you've customized the contact fields than you may have to do it again.
