Hi and welcome to the forums!
There isn't a calendar in the desktop manager software.
The desktop manager software can best be described as an interface between your desktop and your Blackberry 9780. The desktop manager when used to synchronize your personal data reads your device (calendar, notes, contacts, tasks) and reads the same data from your PC using the Personal Information Manager. (PIM) Some examples of PC PIM are ex: (MS Outlook, Yahoo, Lotus Notes etc.
Please post back and tell us what type PC you use and what OS version is installed.
We then need to understand either what type of PIM you use as ( compatibility issues do exist between versions of Desktop manager and some PIMS.)
If in fact you are not currently using a PIM on your PC let us know your exact setup and we can suggest some work arounds.
Sound good? ![]()

Could you please tell me the version of your desktop software? anyway for your information, for 6.0 version and above
any media (Music, picture, video) can be syncted through media sync, any other things can be synced through device -->Sync by type --> organiser. If you would like to sync all at a time, it can done through device-->sync all.

Windows 7 32 or 64bit?
I bet you have Desktop Manager 6.0 Bundle 2949 installed on your PC.
We need to know what device OS is loaded as well. The link below will show you what to check.
On the Blackberry click options>scroll to About Device versions>click enter and jot down the information. (That's the best way now here is there shortcut
)
Open your message queue and go to the body of the message type myver and press space. That will show you your device OS version. Type mypin and your full PIN will be listed!
So we will have everything except what you use for calendars and contacts on your PC. I have listed the release notes for DM 6.0 it has a list of all the common PIMs used.
Let us know what you have.
Thanks,

Hi LVD,
Excellent job on getting the Blackberry info!
Now we still need to know if you use email and a calendar on the PC.
In the link I sent you with the release notes there were lots of examples.
I'll post them below.
OK?
Thanks,
