Hello,
I'm not too tech savvy, but I thought this should be fairly easy... I have had a Blackberry Curve for a long time and recently received a new Bold 9900 for work (new phone number and BBM Pin). My curve doesn't have a Sim card, so I have to use the Blackberry Desktop Manager. When I follow the steps to switch my old phone and all it's info to the new phone, everything has transferred over EXCEPT my contacts (I have e-mail and tesxt history, my old apps, etc. but no contacts or BBM pins from my old phone).
What do I do??
Thanks for any knowledge at all...I'd appreciate it!

Hi showe and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!
Do you know if your BlackBerry Bold 9900 is activated on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) through your work? If so, this would be why you are unable to restore your contacts to the device. As contacts are set to wirelessly synchronize and backup using the BES, they are write protected when restoring data.
If you are not activated on a BES, let me know.
Thanks.
