Crappiest software ever didn xpect this frm a bb

I have a blackberry bold 9790 with me last I dnt knw 2 weeks I've been trying to update my phones OS it's pretty frustrating cuz all the alternative methods fails... First I installed desktop manager for the update in my windows 8 it didn work I Thot it was older version maybe that's y then I installed a newest one it din help me I did remove n re download a several times didn open d older version atleast did open ... Then I Thot to try alternative method I.e thru phone n guess what there was no option so called update software in d device as said in help menu or website then I went for final method via online didn help either n I'm now tired of retrying
