Hello Forum,
I was wondering if the Desktop Manager is working the way its suppost to.
I have a Blackberry Bold using Desktop Manager 4.6.
In The Synchronize option I have "Synchronize Automatically" ticked.
When I connect my BlackBerry Bold to the PC via USB it updates with Outlook 2003.
When I make changes during the day with my Blackberry it doesnt update.
Is there a way I can make it update automatically without manually telling it to?
Or telling it to update every 30 minutes?
Thanks

The program is working the way it's supposed to. With that box checked it just means that on the initial connection with the BlackBerry that it would sync. If that box was unchecked you would have to go into Synchronize and hit the button to sync it.
If you have personal email setup on the BlackBerry with a BlackBerry Data plan, then that will sync with the device wirelessly. The only way the other data (calendar, address book, etc) would sync if if you are on a BES or using a hosted BES. Though if the email you have setup with the BlackBerry is Gmail, then you can use the Google Sync program to wirelessly sync the Contacts and the Address Book

Thank you very much for confirming this.
I am just use to using Active Sync with Windows Mobiles, it updates PDAs when a change occures.
Unforuantly external email is blocked in our network so we can only use our own mail from exchange. Connecting it to a BES would be very costly but oh well not my problem because its not my phone! ![]()
