Re: Desktop Mgr wants to delete all my old appointments from Outlook

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll do that.  But first, are you sure I won't loose any information or program settings?

the reboots are just reboots, just like when you shut your PC or the light in your bathroom down. You will not lose anything.

Re: Desktop Mgr wants to delete all my old appointments from Outlook

I had the same problem and this worked for me...

- Open the Blackberry Desktop Manager (I'm using v4.6) and go to Synchronize.

- On the left hand side of the screen, click on synchronization.

- Click on reset configuration.

Once it is reset, configure your calendar again to the two-way sync and it shouldn't want to erase prior events from either your device or from Outlook.  As always, make sure you back everything up first.

Hope it works for you.

Thank you!  The reset configuration worked for me.  I have struggled with this over 6 months and had never tried to just reset the configuration...WORKED!!

Re: Desktop Mgr....PROBLEM FIXED!

I just recently installed a 4GB Sd card in my Curve and that fixed the problem.  I guess because I was always low on space, the phone was deleting data to compensate.  If you don't have a MicroSD card, install one and see if your problem goes away.  I got mine from amazon for 9.99.

Good Luck!
