Desktop Software for PC

I have this same problem - the BB desktop software does not behave as Microsoft intended windows to behave. In my case i am using a Dell 910 with a 1024x600 screen, and it is impossible to get the action buttons at the bottom of the screen into view so they can be used, despite all the unused space in the windows.

Is there a version of the BBD s/w designed for small screens?

I am using normal fonts according to Display Properties/Appearance so no option there.  If I try to resize the top of the screen downwards to reduce the window size, the whole window jumps downwards by about 25% of the screen when I grab the resize arrow, and the resize option in the taskbar button is greyed out.  So I'm out of options unless someone can suggest something!

in the requirements, it is specified a screen definition of at least 1024x768 :

That being said I suggest you to:

1) either force a higher definition on your screen, temporarily

2) or you can try and use the Alt-Space shortcut to move the whole window up "out of the upper limit of your screen" so that you can access the lower buttons

3) try and navigate through the window clickable entities by using the TAB key on your keyboard (I would really use this as the last resort)

4) use keyboard shortcuts.

Thanks for the ideas, I don't know about the alt/space thing so I will research that. Tabbing works if you know what you are tabbing to but is difficult.

I don't think specifying a screen larger than many of those sold to mobile users is an excuse when using proper coding practices would have avoided the problem in the first place!

Please keep up posted with what worked and what did not work, I need that info because this issue is quite frequent.
