Actually, I take it back... they go back and forth.
Sync 1 - 12 changes from device to desktop
Sync 2 - 12 changes from desktop to device
Sync 3 - 12 changes from device to desktop
round and round.
They just seem to be passing them back and forth

Ok,
Think you went the wrong way there. If they are from the DEVICE and they want to change Outlook then the one in Outlook needs to be deleted. Just try one. Do the first sync and it should say one delete TO device from desktop. Then one more sync, and see if it asks for 12 changes FROM device to Outlook. If that works, I would delete and recreate the 13 in Outlook.
Your thoughts?

Strike the post above ^.
If you have a good backup of the device and Outlook has the correct info, do this:
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks

The first option in the link is something I have tried before (clearing the DB and resync'ing) but I am trying it again right now. Option number 2 from the link doesn't apply because we do not have BES.
If this doesnt work I will try manually deleting all 12 entries on each side... syncing... then recreating them manually.
I'll report back either way.

Ok, option number 1.... turned off cal sync, cleared device db, turned on cal sync and then sync'd.... it picked up 100+ changes, as expected since the db was cleared, and sync'd them.
I then re-ran another sync and it appeared to work.
Re-running again right now to make double sure.
Can't figure out why this worked this time, and not when I tried it before... only thing I didnt do the first time I tried this was turn the sync off before clearing the DB.
Fingers crossed this it!!

It worked again! So that is two sync's that worked!
I am tagging your post with the link as the solution. The key must have been disabling (un checking) sync before hand.
At least I can end my frustrating night on a positive note
And even better, this is the boss' device so it was extra good to resolve this particular problem. She is gonna hate the trackball and how looooong it takes to sync each time... but nuttin I can do about those! Ha.
Thank you for your replies and help.
