Hello
I have recently installed Desktop Manager 7.0.0.59 on a new laptop to continue connecting my Blackberry Bold 9780 (sync music - pictures etc). This was achieved previously on a netbook which has now packed up.
Unfortunately, most if not all of the tracks (which were ripped from my own CDs) are showing as failed to sync as they are protected by Digital Rights Management. In fact, some music has even been taken OFF the Blackberry.
Having looked in properties at a good number of the failed to sync files all are showing the following:
This file can be played an unlimited number of times
Collaborative play for this file is allowed
This file can be burned an unlimited number of times
This file can be synchronized an unlimited number of times
The media usage rights for this file can be backed up
The way I interpret this is that what I am doing (moving music to my Blackberry to play) is within the Media Usage Rights and therefore the Desktop Manager should not block the sync.
Can anyone help?
Regards Fred

Sorry to hear you're having an issue with music files on your BlackBerry® Bold™ 9780 smartphone. The following KB article should provide more information on Digital Rights Management and the BlackBerry smartphone. http://bbry.lv/NA0OW6
